Sudanese Refugees Freed by US Congressman Find a New Life in US

A family of nine Sudanese refugees, ranging in age from 8 to 84, is discovering an entirely new life in the farmlands of rural Virginia after being persecuted for their Christian faith. VOA's congressional reporter Katherine Gypson visited the family's new church to talk to the once-imprisoned pastor. In his first interview since being freed, Hassan Abduraheem talks about his ordeal, which ended after a U.S. lawmaker reached out to Khartoum.
